"MEND": HONOURING DR. ALEXANDER AUGUSTA

Trinity alumnus Dr. Alexander Augusta (1825-1890): Rejected by American universities, Augusta completed his medical degree at Trinity Medical College – becoming the first Black medical student in Canada West – then used his skills to fight for civil rights and racial injustice on both sides of the border.
